The Weeknd, Drake and Starboy Wizkid won’t be working together anytime soon with the Canadian singer, according to Tory Lanez.
Tory Lanez claims that he has been submitting music to Drake and The Weeknd for years in the hopes of collaborating with them, but he has not received a response. During a Tuesday Twitter Q&A, the Canadian rapper stated that neither performer would likely be included on his upcoming album, Sorry 4 What.
When a fan inquired as to whether Drake or The Weeknd will be included on Sorry 4 What, Lanez said,
“Been sending them tracks for years… but nah not a single one.”
When told the news, several supporters were unfazed, with one saying,
“Actually, he doesn’t need it because he is more artistic and talented. Where the other two have simply embraced the status quo, he is him.”
They are intimidated by your talents, a second person added.

When asked about working with Wizkid, Lanez said that he had not heard from Wizkid in a long time as well, but he appeared more optimistic about a potential future partnership.
I’ve been trying to work with Cuz for years, but the right time will arrive, he remarked.
Lanez said that A Boogie wit da Hoodie is the sole featured artist on the record as it stands right now.
