VMA Award: Harry Styles Accepts His Award Virtually Due To Fight

One of the most prestigious trophies was given to Harry Styles during the MTV VMA ceremony this year, but he was unable to accept it in person since he was giving a performance at Madison Square Garden.

After winning album of the year for his highly acclaimed Harry’s House, the 28-year-old As It Was hitmaker was compelled to make a virtual presence.

With fierce opposition from artists like Adele, Billie Eilish, and Drake, Styles emerged as the evening’s first British victor.

He expressed his gratitude for the honor throughout his address.

“I am aware that this award was chosen by the fans, and I could not be holding it without your support. I hope your evening is going well.”

He added that he is sorry he can’t be with the viewers there tonight, but he has to get ready to go onstage just a few ways down the road. However, he hopes they are enjoying their evening and he sincerely appreciates it.

That makes sense!

Currently on his Love On Tour across the United States, the former member of One Direction will spend ten nights performing at New York’s venerable Madison Square Garden.

He seemed to be having a great time so far, despite being doused in chicken nuggets.

The hunk will be featured prominently in a variety of future British dramas, including My Policeman, in which he portrays a young cop in the 1950s who is forced to conceal his sexuality.

Additionally, he and Florence Pugh are also cast in the upcoming psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling.

Taylor Swift’s shocking announcement of her tenth studio album was one of the evening’s other standout moments.

While Nicki Minaj subsequently performed a combination of some of her best hits, Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance and quipped about “needing the work” as his visage was projected onto the head of a moonperson.

Along with them, Blackpink, BTS, Jack Harlow, and Lil Nas X received awards.
