Compared to Jay-Z and Eminem, Bubba Sparxx & Paul Wall are preferred by Azealia Banks over Lil Wayne.
Particularly when it comes to her opinions on hip-hop, Azealia Banks is not one to hold her tongue. The rapper posted some comments on Instagram this morning about some of the greatest stars in the industry, including Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Eminem.
Azealia Banks started by comparing the discographies of the two artists to show why she believes Lil Wayne is a superior rapper to Jay-Z. In her opinion, “Lil Wayne is the best rapper of all time,” she said, adding that while she loves Jay-Z on Jay Electronica’s album, she “can’t believably listen to Jay-Z talk that black power shit.” She then listed her top songs of all time, including Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow,” Pressa’s “Canada Goose” ft. She played songs by Tory Lanez, Lil Kim, Styles P, and her own album, “Fuck Him All Night.”
After praising or criticizing Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Styles P, she gave her candid opinion about Eminem, which was hardly positive. She said that she “can’t, won’t, and refuses to ingest white male fury in rap form,” calling him “always been obnoxious and garbage.”
Before giving a societal study of Em’s overall influence, she stated, “I’m taking Paul Wall and Bubba Sparxxx over Eminem ANYDAY.”
Also, can we add Eminem’s exaggerated white male wrath to the list of things that motivate white school shooters lol… We love to blame black parents and black celebrities for “what’s wrong with our youth,” she added, “but seriously let Em create full songs about wanting to kill his own mother.”
She also emphasized how Em managed to appear in an Elton John song despite utilizing homophobic slurs in his music.
